MOH calls for continued participation of international organizations in Rakhine State

Nay Pyi Taw, 23 July—The Ministry of Health has called for the continued participation of international organizations, including the MSF, in a statement released on 23 July, saying this would contribute to the stability and development of Rakhine State.

The ministry said it is working to improve the healthcare services for the public, including those in Rakhine State and is cooperating with local and international organizations.

It also urged the international organizations to work transparently, accountably, responsibly and harmoniously with local people and consider the wish of the general public.
